High Jewellery from the Red Carpet - Extraordinary Opportunity
First State Auctions is delighted to be auctioning an exquisite necklace worn by Princess Charlene of Monaco at the Princess Grace Foundation Awards Annual Gala in New York in 2022.
The stunning piece was handmade by famed high jeweller Lorenz Baumer of 19, Place Vendome in Paris and features a 1.22 carat pink Argyle diamond.
In 2010, Lorenz Baumer was the jeweller selected by the royal family of Monaco to create the wedding jewellery for Princess Charlene Wittsock and Prince Albert II .
La Vie en Rose is a versatile necklace created in 18kt white, yellow and rose gold. The two rings of diamonds surrounding the Pink diamond at the centre are both double sided and revolve around the centre diamond allowing the wearer to create multiple designs of their own.
All but one of the fancy yellow diamonds are Australian, sourced from the original Ellendale mine in Western Australia. Most of the white diamonds are from the Ekati mine in Canada. We are selling the necklace on behalf of Burgandy Diamond Mines, the current owner of the Ekati Mine, who produced the necklace to showcase their magnificent white and fancy colour diamonds.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to secure a piece of extraordinary provenance that has graced the neck of royalty.
